Out in Grayson County this morning.....Good Luck to everyone!
Getting ready to head out in Breckinridge. Good luck gentlemen!!!
I can't make it today but it should be good. Pressure is high today.
Headed out in a few here in Iowa just to watch. Been a great hunt already and I’m outta tags. I thank the Ole Man upstairs! Time of year is right, weather is right, just gotta get the right deer in the right spot! Good luck everyone!
Headed to farm, hope they move better today. Not a dead deer between Henderson and Hartford today on roads. Girlfriend said dead deer everywhere between Henderson and union county. Hard to believe a little east could make a difference. Good luck. Contemplating a move to Indiana farm if doesn’t heat up soon
I'm out, I will prob regret it but I changed farms. I came to a spot I haven't hunted in a couple years. Haven't had any cameras on this farm so it is all gonna be a surprise. I did find a big scrape coming in about 150 yards from my stand in in a saddle on a ridge and it's pretty much a thicket all around me. Good luck everyone.
Overseeing a bridge deck pour today, keeps me out of the woods. Good luck to those that get to chase those booners today
My son back on my farm.
Suppose to be on vacation this week. Had to go into work Monday. Hunted till noon yesterday only saw 2 small bucks. have a Class for work this morning till 1230 but then I’ll head to stand for evening. Had good movement on cameras last nite into early this morning.
I'm up in Nelson county this morning. Hunted this stand yesterday evening and saw a good buck. Hopefully he's still in the area.
FOGGY and getting foggier here.
Deer don't like moving "much" in fog.
Going to head to a pop-up in a few it should clear in an hour.
Out again today ready for my third all day sit in a row. Ended up seeing two bucks right at dark last night and three new scrapes made between when I headed to my stand and left. Getting close to busting loose on my place
In a tree on a gasline. Sat yesterday afternoon and not a single deer crossed it which is highly unusual. Hopefully, this morning better.
Set up today in my favorite pinch point that has 4 finger ridges leading to the shallow end of a 3 acre pond. It has been an awesome spot in the past when they are in the cruising/chasing part of the rut.
Slow morning here so far 1 lonely doe
