"Are you serious, Clark?" Here, in Central KY, this morning's low was -4* with lots of wind and 4" of snow.

There was a time in my life when I would get out and duck hunt in this kind of mess. Not now. I’ll take my fireplace and a hot pot of coffee thank you.

My brother just sent me a pic of a doe just bedded right in the snow in some trees beside of his house. Tough animals!

At work..........at least I'm inside. -8 on the barn thermometer with about 2" of snow at the house.

I mainly spear hunt nowadays, sling shots are a little too much range for me, no sport in that. Not sure they'll move anyways in this warmer weather.

I had a doe and 2 fawns bedded not far from the barn just after daylight. They stayed till about 730 and left. I'm guessing they went deeper into the holler to get out of the wind.

-2 in Elliott, -24 with wind they say. Fed hounds, ran the dogs, quite chilly. Think I'll feed the fire all day, for the next several days. Kids called momma and said they won't make it in for Xmas.

I feel sorry for you all. Momma and I drove up to Michigan yesterday to have a Christmas Eve brunch with 3 of the kids. It’s a balmy 0 here right now!

Got back from Carolina yesterday evening trying to beat the weather. To cold this morning to hold the bow. Got corn out for the deer though.on the farm in lower ohio.noticed yesterday that the bucks are dropping already there.
