Just got busted my a cruiser, not a bruiser, when the wind swirled for a moment. He was coming down 1 of the ridge fingers right to the funnel.

So far saw what looked to be a decent buck right at 7:11. He was walking about 150 yards out in a field. Hard to say how good he was, but if I can see a wide rack from that far away in less than full light, must be pretty decent.

I believe it will be good all this week. Glad I missed the rain this morning but I think I can feel a cold coming on and will have to miss work tomorrow.
Did your buddy ever find the big one you were excited about couple days ago? That’s a nice 8 you saw this morning.

Unfortunately not. Gave him 3 hours before looking. Followed bright red blood trail for 125 yards, found 4 beds of light amounts of blood and actually used a bloodhound last 2 hours of that day. Hoping and praying it was not a lethal wound. Don’t believe vitals were hit.

I did and I'm still wet. Brought an extra set of gloves and changed too quickly. Now both are wet. Thank goodness I brought some hand warmers. They are the only thing keeping me from getting down. In until noon then back at it mid morning until dusk tomorrow.
