I've honestly NEVER seen anyone bowfishing from a road bridge. It makes good sense though. Can't say I blame them

I have seen a few guys walking across and standing on the Rocky Creek bridge on hwy 973 below the lake Malone dam with bow in hand but never seen anyone shoot a fish while standing there looking down.

This has been tried in other states. Now those states don’t have the quality trash fish that we have.

All jokes aside I would like to have a daytime tourney bank shooting at Barkley and ky dam’s, they have tournaments down there every weekend but my boat isn’t set up for night shooting and I don’t like the formats because you can shoot both tail waters and the entire Ohio river as long as you can make it to weigh in

last summer, below the Ky Lake dam, talked to three young guys from Pennslyvania. they drove all night, 12 hrs, to walk the banks and shoot. saw them stick a few fish.

you can stand on the bridge, shoot 100 yds with the new xbows and not step foot on someones property.

Shot about 30 last Saturday, usually get my limit of spoonbill but the water was up, missed a few bigheads that would have went 60-70lbs, hard to get used to shooting fish that are 5-8 ft deep, here’s a few

Now you're talking! Allseasonhunter might have to train them dogs to swim. He'll be in business year round!

Why would it be illegal to shoot a rough fish with a bow from a bridge? It's not a firearm, and it's not a game animal.
