Although I cannot name any of her songs, I would recognize many of them, having been exposed to her music via my late father as a child. He really liked her music, considering it to be real country music.

Hate to see this.... Loretta Lynn was an absolute legend.

(Especially to a little country girl who was lucky enough to be hired as an extra when they were filming Coal Miner's Daughter back in my hometown.... even tho my dad got paid more for letting them use his chickens in a scene than I did!!!!)

Real outlaw music died with Johnny Paycheck. Greatest voice in all of music and never got the respect he deserved as an artist.

Loretta certainly left her mark. Especially for Kentucky music.
