If you report the band on the website do you still receive a certificate of appreciation in the mail?
They email you a PDF that you print out on a color printer. Looks just like the old mailed certs. Don't think they mail them at all anymore.
I sent them an email to find out for sure. I never received an PDF file just an email showing the info I submitted
What does banded as an adult mean? And hatched in 1991 or earlier?
I guess if that's a serious question my answer is it was banded when it was already and adult and it was likely hatched/born in 1991 or earlier. So if you shot a bird this year with that information for the band number the bird is at least 23 years old.
So, I got the information email but no attached pdf of the certificate to print. Am I missing something?
