The versa max my buddy just bought has choke tubes that say Pass Shooting, Flooded Timber, Decoying Ducks. Can someone explain what these mean as far as IC, M, F, etc?

They're extended choke tubes, made for the overbored ProBore system on the VersaMax.

  5. For the mentally handicapped who cant figure out what the regular designations on chokes mean. The probably had Camosexuals in mind.

I would love to see the VersaMax offered with both a standard field barrel (28 inch with choke tubes) and a 20 in fully rifled barrel with a cantilever scope mount (with open sights engineered as part of the cantilever system)... I really like redundancy in a slug barrel

The choke tubes are the Remington "Wingmaster HD" chokes. As Quickdraw pointed-out, the actual constrictions and sizes are on the Remington website. Google. It's your friend.

Barryadams, your versa max should take standard Remington chokes. There are lots of after-market chokes available. Pretty much every major manufacturer makes their chokes in a variety of styles, you want the ones that say "Remington" or "Rem". Like here, http://www.wingsupply.com/shooting-...chokes/hevi-shot-waterfowl-choke-tube-system/, if you click on the "brand" drop-down the very first option is "12ga. Mid-Range Remington". Easy as that. For what it's worth, Carlson's make some damn fine chokes that don't cost a ton either.

Negative. The choke linked above will NOT fit your Versa Max. That one is for a regular Rem Choke system, as found in the 870, 1100, 11-87, etc. The Versa Max uses the Pro-Bore chokes and the threads are near the muzzle end of the choke tube, not the end opposite the muzzle.
