those moving parts may need to soak in something.......
That poor rifle has more dirt on it than the chinese have on the pedophile president elect!!! I'd say clean it some more. Especially in and around the extractor. But the amount of ammo it took to build that up, a new extractor is prolly a good idea...
I owned a Remington Speedmaster briefly, a very good rifle but it was a bear to clean the action.
I would clean it again.
Man no wonder it was hanging up.
Would be interested in selling it? Shoot me a pm if so
I got one that I can't even use. It will close with no shell but try feeding on it only closes half way
I've owned a few 552's over the years (I still own one). I've always had good luck with CCI stingers.
Might be some lead from a previous round jammed in the barrel or needs a little cleaning or polishing?????? Try running a ram-rod down the barrel "unloaded of course. LOL
Clean not the trouble. Talked too a gun Smith and he said when it blow bottom plate out it messed up the spacing need have it worked on.
I had to order a bolt assembly for my rifle . After I inspected it closely there was a small piece that was broken off and a small spring missing.
I finally found one on Ebay and it is being shipped in the mail now.
I put a new bolt in the gun and it is fixed and works great. Going to shoot it more later today and sight it in .
I really like this gun.
