Well was hoping we emptied the lake today but didn't manage to as I know they still at least 1 more in there that broke my line. Guess have to go back again. Lol. We ended up with 9 today

They stock some big ones where you live you know somebody lol!!! Where I’m at just little ones every now and then you get a nice one!! We lost a bunch when they jump my son gets mad lol!!
This last stocking had some of the biggest ones we have had in several years. I normally only get my line broke a couple times a season. Already had it happen more times than I can count this year

You use ultralights that’s all I use with 4 pound and sometimes 6 on my line. Wish they stock down here again your getting me wanting to trout fish!! Crappie been kind of slow and I haven’t been able to go very much either to windy or something else and to lazy to hook up the boat lol!!

Yeah I use an ultralight pfluger reel with a light action 7 foot rod and 2 pound test
 
Got a couple just like it they are nice! Got a few Diawa ultras I like better!
I always resisted Daiwa and Shimano reels because they were Jap made and went with Swedish made Abu Garcia and US made pfluegar exclusively and have pretty much maintained that attitude even though since the 90s both Abu Garcia and Pflueger have been China made. I’m gonna take your word on that ultralight Daiwa and give it go as it would have to be a dandy to beat that Pflueger.
