Yes me too. Those days are few and far between. Each day had several hours of non stop almost every cast action or fish. Absolutely off the charts. Game changer nymphs, yellow stone fly nymphs and egg patterns. Oh and a dozen or so on streamers.

Cumberland River, gravel bars. Yes that’s a lot of trout. Makes you wonder where they are all the rest of the days!

Well salmon peach trout bait did it again. Didn't get a double limit but we did manage to drag out another 6.

Congrats. We drove through your neck of the woods yesterday on our way to a hike at Mt. Rogers. Last week (Wed) we were in town on a day you fished (I think) but were too busy to go up to the lake. Still haven't been there.

Did you go with a guide? My brother and I are thinking about taking Dad trout fishing there this summer. He'll be 82 and use to wade the river quite often and talks about going again. Just checking out our options.

I guide. But last weekend was guides day (recon and relaxation)on the river with a new neighbor. I am in Burkesville but fish up to the dam. Let me know, there a lot of good guides on the river. Wading options are few and far between on this river even on low water. Depending on where you are coming from you could rent our river house and fish from there! That would be awesome for the three of you.

Another buddy, David joined Johnny and I today and we managed to get 15. I fooled around and let 3 break my line or we would have had a 3 man limit.
