Well i finally caught a limit. Deadline with a worm worked well for me on a straight brass hook. I missed a few on the bobber. And oddly enough didnt get a bite on yella korn kernal sized powerbait.

After canning them we just mix em up like when ya make salmon patties and fry em. Best fish cakes I've eaten

Our limit here is 6 and I rarely get a bit on that yellow corn power bait. Years ago I could catch em on it pretty good but after they came out with salmon peach it was like they quit hitting it. I've also got one of those little ugly stick combos but don't care much for it where the rod is so short

The shakespere reel that came with it is a POS too. Waste of 22$.

Hope you get to filling better Luther so you can get back out there, and for Christmas!! I was going to buy that reel but then I would have to order me a pole for it so I’m going to wait until after Christmas and use gift cards or money to get me something!!

Boy the fish have sure gotten thin at the lake I been fishing. Hadn't been I a few days but went yesterday and today for an hour or so each day got 1 yesterday but no pic and one today with a pic. Buddy also went a time or two while I stayed home. He got a couple but didn't send me any pics. Today the bite was slow and only had 3. First one broke my line in the hook set as the wind had blown my line around the end of my rod and I hadn't noticed. Second one I caught and the 3rd a I let a youngster get. He didn't set the hook and just started winding. It spit it out at the bank. Was a blast watching him though.
This one made us 202 for the season. Still got plenty time left and hope to get a couple hundred more.

Well they did stock the lake 2 times once in October and again in November. They usually put about 150 in at a time. Not knowing what others have caught more than around 20 that I've seen. There should still be some in there. I just gotta be there when they hungry or find where they went in the lake but my best hope is come on back stock truck
