I would want to see some pros and cons, plus evidence it can support a longer season before I vote. I am taking it someone is doing some lobbying to the state?

As I understand the Ky Game commissioners will vote on this Friday at their meeting.

    End of the line
Rabbit and quail seasons run concurrently, not sure why unless it is to keep folks from shooting quail after the season goes out who are rabbit hunting. IMHO if this is the case it is not a valid reason as the difference in the populations of the two is night and day. Tons of rabbits but few quail in my area, see no reason why rabbit season ends so early.

I'd be happy if they just let Rabbit season come in statewide after Gun Season and let it run till the middle of February. I know you can rabbit hunt after opening weekend, but who's gonna go hunting and risk getting shot or getting your dogs killed by someone deer hunting.
