Yeah, i got one of the books, Larry Benoit wrote. They were, the real deal. Larry and Lane passed away, i think Lanny may still hunt some, but last i heard Shane wasnt. Larry also made knives, them things are crazy high now. There is a tribute video of Larry, on youtube. Them guys were unbelievable , at tracking bucks in the snow for miles and miles.
Kirk pretty much, did everything illegal, it seemed. As i said a lot about him on the web. If anyone, wanted to. It was just a big schock, to me. To admire, somebody like that, then find out the truth..

My buddy’s kid brother worshipped Barry Larkin when he played for the reds. At 13 years old He rushed over to Barry in his car and got his foot ran over trying to get an autograph. Told him he should try to get him to sign the cast. Dont ever meet your heroes lol.

Mine are, pretty much all dead anyway,. But the way, i feel lately, might see them again, before i really want to. Lol

Grago if your back in 86. You should remember the 742 woodmaster and 7400 of course in 30-06 if your a true Kentuckian.
We outfitted ours with the high rise mounts and bought boxes of cartridge's like we were dove hunting with them.

Yeah, i do, my dad, shot a 742, i always had high rise mounts, I never shot a deer, with open sights on a rifle, but always wanted the high rise, mounts, in case i needed to, i had some friends, tell me , if my scope was closer to the barrel, i could shoot better, and they had theirs that way, but they could never shoot as good of group, as o could. One of my dads good friends, still usea the same 742, used in the 70's , all in 3006, I cant shoot no good anymore, but , i always been someone, if it works, dont mess with it.
