Here is a few pictures of some of the predator calls i make and also slings and call lanyards. All handmade by me except the toneboards. I tried make a few toneboards and it very time consuming without jig. But im working on making one soon. I use yellerdogs toneboards and make my own reeds and tune them. This call was made from hardwood hickory. Hopefully this winter i will make several howler and distress calls to sell 20190811_222339_Burst01-1.jpg 20190811_222350-1.jpg 20190811_222359_Burst01-1.jpg 20190811_222501-1.jpg 20190811_222512-1.jpg 20190811_222527-1.jpg 20190811_222532-1.jpg 20190811_222329-1.jpg

Thanks dark cloud! For the finish just minwax stain with about 12 coats of tung oil. Just little sheen. I think the howler sound pretty good. Still work on tuning and reeds for distress... Lookin good!!! I like your calls. Is the third like coaxing call?

Third from left is a squirrel call.Reason I asked about the finish, that’s a CA (super glue) finish I put on them ,very tough and easy to do.I always used tung oil on turkey calls ,good finish.

Learn something new everyday. I be interested in hearing about your finish some time when you can. So many squirrels here dont need no call. They drive me lil crazy during deer season!
