Not totally, but the odds of living can definitely be put in one's favor.
Very true. I should say likely avoidable.
Thanks for correcting me.
Just got a call our neighbor passed a little while ago. On ventilator for 5 weeks. Leaves behind 3 boys. Two the same age as my boys and a 23 yr old special needs son.
Dang. So sorry.
That is sad news.

Healing in the name of Jesus.
Praying for everyone being affected by this disease. Lives are being changed forever.
Just spoke with Susan.... It was a bad day, then a good day. Donnie flat-lined this morning about 7:00 for 5 seconds or so. Then he flat-lined again a couple of hours later for 40 seconds. They determined it was due to one of his meds, and they stopped it. He has been fine ever since. They said if need be, they will put in an external pacemaker, but not necessary at this time. They're monitoring his pulse and BP. His resting pulse is 45, but they don't know if that's normal for him or not.... His BP is a little low. He's still on the vent, but it's only at 40%... His lung scans were clearer yet again. He is alert, and communicating. They're going to continue with breathing/respiratory excercises, and remove the vent when he achieves "X", I don't understand fully what 'X' is. Anyway, he is improving. Keep him in your prayers please.
That's awful. Prayers for that family
Sorry to hear Greg. Prayers up!
Sorry to hear.
Best news yet! Donnies down to 25 on the ventilator, with 100% O2 saturation. They may do a trial breathing without the vent today. A week ago today, the doctor gave him 10% chance to live. Thank you Lord!!!
