Anything new?

For some reason this young man has been on my mind the last couple days.....

Hope he's doing OK. Continuing to pray.

He had a rough several weeks after radiation. Burned him up. Could not eat for over three weeks. Had another scare last week. His eye swelled back up. Took back to hospital. Blood counts way low again. Another transfusion. I talked to him Sunday and he felt very well. Chemo treatments through December. He got a Dream Hunt which scares me. They normally give those to people not expected to survive..... He asked me what I would hunt if I could go hunt anything for free. I said New Zealand red stag. Other choices anyone?

Is the Dream Hunt open to basically anywhere in the world? I still think I'd like to kill a 275+inch whitetail over anything else on the planet. Second would be a world class bull elk. Beyond that, I honestly don't know enough about exotic hunting to even know what would be fun to hunt. LOL

Sheep hunt would be to physically demanding. He doesn't want to do an elk hunt because he says it is something he can hunt here. Be interesting to see. I think any hunt anywhere , other than Africa safari

There are some really nice Fallow deer bucks in Texas. They are supposed to be very tasty also.

Sorry Chase had another setback. Glad he is feeling better. Hope he will enjoy that hunt. Looking forward to reading about it and hear it was an Awesome time. Continued prayers for Chase.

I wouldnt think i would travel to africa with his condition i would be to scared if he needed medical att it wouldnt be up to snuff, lots of things to catch over their and it sounds like he would be so weak he might catch something. My neighbor went over and built schools with his church and came back with some condition that effects his liver, the red stag hunt sure sounds like the hunt of a life time.

Very true, I didn't consider that.....Onyx hunt in New Mexico is a once in a lifetime type hunt too, and I've heard it isn't very physically demanding. I wish him the best.

If I got to go on a dream hunt I'd go to alaska and hunt either near or moose.
