My place on parkway…. One hen pic since June. They’ll harvest corn soon. If any birds I’ll see them then.

Its crazy aint it. I remember just a few years ago I would have more turkey pics then deer. An it wasn't because the deer weren't there. It was just the fact that there was way more turkeys back then on my places. Like someone hit a switch. An while there is still turkeys in alot of parts of Kentucky I feel its a state wide issue. Harvest results mean nothing to me really. Because more people hunt now then ever number 1. An two the toms that are there get easier to kill if then hen population. Is down. I have always said you can put a good hunter on a 4 or 500 acre farm that holds just 1 tom. An give that hunter a week or two max an he will kill him.

I've got at least 15 poults in one flock at inlaws. Very glad to see that.

Dam poults get so confused every time I run into em around here, it's no wonder the survival rate is so low. Me and Jr had one headbutt the Ranger while we were getting his deer Saturday

I've seen poults every time I've been out in August and September at several WMAs and private land. More than I've ever seen. Taylor-Green-Casey-Adair-Boyle-Marion

I got some bigger poults not as big as momma but not far.
And I also have some pretty small ones. Goes to show ya how long they breed in summer.

Same here old buddy. Anyone who says there not in trouble simply hasn't spent as much time in the woods.
