One of the bucks harvested last year was believed to be 11-13 years old.
I just received info that ticket sales will go live the last week of June. I will post the link in a new thread once that begins. It will be posted on the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation website. It will also be advertised on their Facebook.
I’m interested. Any pics of past bucks taken?
The double drop tine buck was harvested in the 2020 season, and is estimated to be 11-13 years old.
This summer, population surveys are being done, to determine how many does will be taken from the property this season.
So you don't get a better price for 15??? Cause its the same as getting 6, lol. Kinda like 1 for .50 and 2 for a dollar.
So which is first, sold tags, or the single draw hunt?
How many 3 day hunts is a "few"?
Sorry, just seen this message. It didn’t send me a notification. It is up to the winner of which 3 days he’d like to hunt. So if the winner wants opening weekend, then that’s what it’ll be
sorry just seen this. A few, as in 3-4. It will never be more than that. The program will always put the deer first and not the money. To maintain a successful program for the future, only a handful of bucks will ever be taken in a season off 3000+ acres. That will leave other mature bucks to carry over into the next year, and allow the younger bucks to thrive. It should only improve by doing so
