I always thought you mowed, sprayed, waited couple weeks, tilled then planted.

You should wait till the vegetation is actively growing again then spray. If it is a glyphosate herbicide I think you can plant as soon as it dries. Shouldn’t affect the seed. But I would wait a couple of days then plant. Are you broadcasting or drilling?

Depends on what you're putting in and how much of it.

Every time you till you're bringing new weed seeds up to germinate.

Depending on the size - mow, burn, broadcast.

My wheat and oats from late 2020 didn't come up until February after spray - till - spray - broadcast.

My tubers came up pretty quick last fall with a mow - burn - broadcast.

Of course, I'm just a dumb city dweller having fun learning from trial and error.

3 days will be enough for almost anything for a normal roundup application. If you scorch the earth with a heavy mix my gut tells me, wait a week but not im not sure

What seed are you putting down?

I just did some spot spraying last week after putting out some seed. Seeds were sitting on top of the ground just packed down and the round-up didn't hurt them any. This week everything is sprouting like normal.
