Never heard of them up around the Owen County area and I'd like to keep it that way. As for the yotes, buddy mine just smoked one on the highway with his truck a couple nights ago in Fort Thomas. Those suckers are everywhere.

Sounds good. I'm calling Snipe Creek lodge to book a hunt before they all fill up!

The escarpment boars get much bigger.

Word of mouth said someone turned several loose in SW Muhlenberg county in the Cottonmouth Lodge area several years ago so they could hunt them. We have did a lot of survey work in that area and I have not as of yet ran across any sign. Got a invite to hunt them in that area a few years ago by a known poacher in the county. When he told me it would be a hour atv ride back in and only archery equipment (no noise) could be used that threw out the big red flag that he was trespassing and didn't want to be caught. Told me he baited them in the winter and had killed several young ones but didn't want any big ones killed to keep the population up. As I said I have never seen the first hog sign in that area and we do a lot of remote oil well sightings there.

I have seen a hog on the side of the railroad tracks in Horse cave. And 1 close to the entrance to Bernheim forest.

They don't allow hog hunts, they are breeding them with deer to produce a super race of game animal exclusive to Snipe Creek. They had no choice after completely wiping Booner bucks off the planet

Here is a trail cam pic snipe creek posted to their face book page. Please acknowledge the quality and majesty of this Boone and Crockett escarpment boar!

I heard they were cross breeding them with turkeys and start advertising that "our pigs do fly"..........

The population in a roughly ten square mile area of Western Pulaski and Eastern Casey has absolutely exploded. Last I heard USDA had trapped or killed somewhere around 500 of them. I started getting them on trail cams during the last month of this past deer season.

Won't be long til they'll be in Oil Center if they aren't already. Might be set for pork forever then!

I'd say they're already in Oil Center. I had them on trail cams less than 2 miles from there as the crow flies.
