Paintsville lake quota hunt

Anybody know of any good bucks taken last weekend at paintsville.myself and two buddies hunted in Morgan county. We saw 8 or nine deer total. One spike and a four point. We checked out around noon Sunday and one of the rangers said only one barely legal 8 pt had been checked in.seems to me there were more big bucks taken before they started the 15" wide rule.

I think there were 350 hunters and only 2 bucks checked in and about 8 does. I live here in Johnson Co and never out in for that hunt...always heard it was a dangerous weekend to be in the woods out there.

I never saw any others on the ridge I was on. Only heard 4 shots Saturday and about 15 or twenty Sunday but I believe most of those were from the same couple people.

Last I heard from a local GW was 2 bucks and 28 does from the Lake. I will say again the crappiest place ive ever hunted!

I couldn't remember the exact number of does but I knew it had an 8 in it. I believe you are right.

When I checked our Sunday at noon there had been 11 does and one buck checked in the buck being a 15 inch wide 8 with a couple stickers
