Paducah is like goin from Nashville to Memphis. You could either walk or strap a jet pack to ur ass and you'll never do it in less than 3 hrs.
All depends on where you live ... which takes a little less than an hour to go to Paducah for us.
Which it takes less than 2 hours from my driveway to Nashville and less than 3 hours to Memphis. Fact is ... it takes me longer to get to Louisville than Memphis ..and Frankfort seems to take freakin forever.
Overall ..... all those places including Paducah are fine for a short visit...but even better in the rear view mirror.
...a funny name for a town? Indian origin maybe?
No worse than Somerset. Hell, even spelt summer wrong!
I live a little over an hour from Paducah, and am there several times a year. I like the town, as it's got pretty much anything I want to shop for. I'd view it as more of a Southern city, but when you go there you see about as many cars with Missouri and Illinois plates as you do Kentucky ones.
Yep, it's named after Chief Paducke.
I thought areas South of the Ohio River, was considered the South.
Pretty much used to be, but times have changed.
I live an hour away. I bet I haven't been three times in the last 5 years.
Town I've never been to
I would only go there a few times a year, but I work there.
A great place with a nice history , we love living here!
