Over the last 13 years

I live in BFE. ,I seen 42 acres last week sell for 400,000.00. I thought would never happen, the bottom 8 acres floods,12 to 15 acres been timbered, can't winch a mountain goat up it,little small junk house falling down no value, barn falling down, these will be tore down, rural road to nowhere, not a place by blacktop to park a dump truck, gotta go 300 yards to flat ground ground, ground needs tons of lime every year ,property is high,400,000.00 don't by much anywhere, good luck

Very nice to the OP, great success and deer!
Curious as to what county? Is your landowner/farmer putting in your plots for ya's or do you all do that work? What are the field sizes on the place?

250 acres is not a lot of land in a bucks day. I had a buck on my farm in 17 that was killed 4 miles down the road. Had a tight 10 pt that had been on my farm the last 3 years, not get a picture of him this year until mid November. Bucks travel a lot of ground in the rut. Might stay in a 1/2 mile square the rest of the year but can show up anywhere in the rut!

I’ve taken a good one or two in that area over the years too.
Wildman Wilson killed both of these pretty much on that same farm
