I think they already tried this once a couple years back but it didn't go thru.
I think I need to get my bill checked for typos. The rate I see is $40 for registration on boats 16-25 My bills each have $44? I also need to measure my 16 ft boat. I'm thinking it is actually 15 +/-. Normally I wouldn't worry about it but with this big of a jump it is worth checking.
Mine is $44 registration fee as well.
tha aisian carp battle has all ready been lost. it should be a federal issue. still more tax's. sparrows where introduced here to get rid of bug's. unfortunately, they eat grain. about the only thing they get rid of is songbirds. So it goe's

Yet look at marinas at all the houseboats and out of state boats that either fly out of state registration or are documented. Use our waters and pay nothing.
That's what I understand being the Ohio Navy. Bet it is also cheaper to register a boat OOS than Ky. They can only keep a boat so many days in state without changing registration that's why some pull their boats out every month or so them bring them back in a few days. Look for Kentucky to go to boat trailer license plates in the near future.
Its only taxed if its motorized...Correct?
Yep and electric only is cheaper than gas powered.
