I think it's Alberta , but that Edmonton bow zone I think it's called. I've seen some hunts out of there produce some monsters
Kudu, gemsbuck, impala and common springbuck are the animals I’m trying to get.Cape buffalo? Ive been told to check out Botswana over S Africa.
If you posted about that hunt in the past, please post a link. Id like to know more about your hunt.If you ever get a chance to go for a cape buffalo, do it.
I have been lucky to hunt lots of critters, but the buffalo was the best. Hands down.

Let me know if any of y’all decide to go. I’ve archery/rifle hunted the Milk River five times many years ago and became really tight the with the owner, Eric Albus. Great Dude and have sent him a few hunters over the years. He always takes care of his KY rednecks.Ive always wanted to hunt the milk river also. Don’t know if it’s as good as years ago though. Grew up watchin bill Jordan David Blanton on vhs tapes huntin there.
Ain’t nothin’ to it but to book it!I would really love to kill a big mule deer or elk, but if I'm paying for a once in a life time hunt it would be a Yukon moose hunt!
Never did see you post results of your hunt. Did you get one?Saskatchewan without a doubt Saskatchewan, I’ve been all over the Midwest deer huntin, Iowa, Illinois, northern Missouri, etc etc etc.. Did a Saskatchewan hunt back in November, the deer are absolutely massive, the weather can be beyond brutally cold, idk where you are in Ky but if you are in Western Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, etc are just about the same, ag fields mixed with hardwoods. Saskatchewan you are in big big woods, 100’s of miles of nothing but spruce and aspen trees, lots of snow, temps well in to the negatives, and the critters are totally different, spruce grouse, fishers, pine martins, wolves, moose. Just go up there knowing you are going to sit all day, it takes mental preparedness and you may only see 2-3 deer all day, but that giant could be the next one to step out
got excited the last day when this big bodied deer came through the woods, should’ve known better than to hurry, but hurry I did and shot a 2 1/2 year old 110” 10 pointNever did see you post results of your hunt. Did you get one?
Did they have a penalty fee or were they satisfied in watching you beat yourself up? I have to admit that most of the 8points ive killed look to be 130 and 4-5yo in the moment, then turn out to be the same 110 3yo deer ive killed several times before. A couple i can blame on low light but the last 2 i was just certain and took a shot. Once or twice is fine but my fifth time was pretty frustrating lol. I also think 3-4 ive passed were probably much larger than I thought and just didnt have enough time to be sure.got excited the last day when this big bodied deer came through the woods, should’ve known better than to hurry, but hurry I did and shot a 2 1/2 year old 110” 10 point
This was one of mine. Right now we are actually reaching out to 2 different outfitters. 1 in Poland and 1 in Croatia. Lot less money, and still some monsters Staggs. May give it some looks if your interested. Apparently the New Zealand hunts. For the most part charge per inch. The outfitters were talking to are like us. Pay for hunt, and kill what makes you happy.New Zealand Red Stag.
I think they were satisfied watching a southerner that’s used to 70° weather suffer in -25Did they have a penalty fee or were they satisfied in watching you beat yourself up?
