Had this buck mounted 9 years ago.Went to the basement last night and had wet spots on the concrete. I started to look around and a yellow oily substance coming from the hide. I was told that it might not have been fleshed right? What opinions do y’all have. I can’t post pics for dome reason.

Sometimes rosin will drip from open pine framing, especially in fairly new construction.

I reached out to him about it,he said it wasn’t nothing he done. But turned around and said he’s sorry and haven’t had any problems for 20 years. And I’ll get a pic, mostly Marion co deer.

It’s not pine rosin, the hide itself is wet feeling.
