Out of Dover ramp, Augusta ramp and Maysville ramp what one do you think is the easiest one to take your boat on and off thanks

How were those ramps this morning? Better yet how about that river. Way to much ice on the river where I am.

Just left from looking at the Ohio in two different spots - I agree with your assessment.

I thought the most important thing to consider when picking a ramp was its proximity to the Dairy Yum Yum.

Not only you got to watch for the ice on the river. Watch the ice and mud on the ramps. TIRE CHAINS. I keep a set with me if I'm going to use my boat in this kind of weather. I check out the ramp. Could be ice or mud 20 inches deep. Put on the tire chains and go to work.

Why do we do such things over a duck? I used to be a deer hunter.....

Because it beats the hell out of sitting in a stand, waiting for Bambi to walk by.

ME TO. Used to couldn't wait for Deer season. But in 1974 I was introduced to the Webfoot. Didn't hunt Ducks hard then but hunted some still more involved with Deer. Plan my vacation to Deer hunt Spent some money buying stuff to Deer hunt but what I could afford. NOW I WOULD BARROW MONEY IF I HAVE TO TO BUY DUCK HUNTING STUFF GOT MORE DECOYS THAN HIGDON DOES But in the 90s I really got hooked on Ducks. Went full bore head on hard charger and still do today. Planned every minute to Duck hunt. ALL my vacation time to Duck hunt. YES I still Deer hunted but wasn't hooked like I once was. If I got a Deer ok. If I didn't it was still ok. Because when Duck season opened. WHATS A DEER. If I had to bust ice and go out in ZERO degree weather to get a Deer id stay in bed. BUT TO KILL 1 DUCK I would work all night to BUST ICE IN NEGATIVE BELOW ZERO DEGREES to get it. YIP I once was a Deer hunter.

If I cant get Deer meat from Sept to Nov when Duck season starts. SHAME ON ME. I hunt good mature Bucks but the closer it gets to Duck season I will take couple of Doe. I don't miss Deer season. I hunt everyday I can. Bow and Gun.
