It's getting a little stale here!........somebody needs to add a pic!

A late November squirrel hunt/stump shoot got interrupted by 150 turkeys. I capitalized on the opportunity. Bout 14 yards. One of my coolest hunts. She was the lead hen. When she started the crappie flop, the rest of the flock kinda huddled/stomped her, at 14 yards, with me on the ground. I learned a lot about turkey vocalizations that morning.

So I'm headed up I-75 toward Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago, and I hit the brakes hard and start pulling over. My wife says, "what have you found now!" I got out and said I'll be right back!

On the rare occasion I can get a few hours free here and there, I like to hit the woods for a bit. It was a really nice day Sunday and after church, I went for a shed hunt for a couple of hours. No sheds to report but I found a former "Shed 'er". Kind of a bummer to find this. This could have been a future kill for the trad bow this year. Looks like he shed them somewhere and then something else go to him before he could grow a new set........

If you ever want to go shed hunting..........I'm your guy! My rates are really cheap and just look at the kind of stuff you will find!! I'm guessing that if he was symmetrical, by Boone & Crockett he might score 20. That's giving him credit for a 5" spread! Lol!

.........and then there was this fella. I found him sometime back. Serious dental issues. I'm not sure what critter this belongs to. I've not seen a groundhog or beaver skull before but I'm guessing its one or the other. Check out the tooth when I pulled it out. It just kept on coming out! Like a wire feed on a mig welder! Most interesting.........
