Off season pics

Bought these 4 for $92.77 a piece, or $371.08 for the lot !
You might find a custom made bow for double that.
I hate to buy cheap imported stuff over American made, but that kind of money, basically 1/8 the cost…….

Are you getting a better price for buying several at the same time?.......or can you get that price on just one bow? If so, I paid to much for my nephew's bow.

I bought one of those bows just because. Less than $100 shipped to me. I can’t buy materials to build my own for anywhere near that! Shot good but passed it on to a newcomer to this trad stuff. I like hunting with bows I made even though I got more in most of them.

I hear ya Carp. I can see the pleasure in taking your own creation to the woods with you. I haven't drummed up the courage to try that yet. Jordan brought one that he created to the last shoot. He did a nice job on his too. I admire the skills you guys have. I'm afraid I'm limited in that department.

Have you ever shot at or killed one with a traditional bow? I've tried to draw on them with a compound to no avail but I've never tried it with a recurve.

Absolutely! lol! The Carpster wouldn't shoot a Cardinal! That's not to imply he couldn't hit a target that small.......just say'n........

I have only hunted Turkey a few times, Mark always tries to get me started, but just not as appealing to me. Maybe this year.
I have only hunted them with a stickbow and my two attempts were my normal off the mark shots. Mark has however connected on one during a deer hunt...
