Back in the day, i used to kill the crap out of ‘em, even slipping along and shooting them out of the trees, but mostly shooting from treestands while deer hunting. Wasnt no digital photography then though, so they was not film worthy. 😂 good times !
Yep.......I used a big pine tree to sneak up on that one. 'Bout a 6 yard shot! Ha!

I

been working on trying to organize this past year, have tossed a ton of stuff, and plan to sell some, or, if i have to, give it away.
We put new floors in the house last month, which mean i had to move every stick of furniture into my garage. Alot never made it back into the house, and we are much happier.

I need to do the same. I'll get it pretty straightened up and it seems like only a month later, its back to chaos in there! Too much stuff!!

I took the picture of the deer, my buddy took the picture of me, I practice drew and aimed, even though I didn’t shoot it. Young doe.

Carp, are you letting all of 'em go for a reason? Buck hunting maybe? I'd be launching some arrows on those shots!
Some were due to buck hunting, some were small bucks, and some were due to one doe only in our zone.

Bought my nephew a recurve for Christmas. 45 lb Black Hunter.

Thanks Randy, for turning me on to these bows. Super inexpensive and shoots extremely well! I told him to get proficient with it and we would look at something a little more upscale if he wants to.

I have bought 6 of them this year, just to give away. Low poundage models for youth, and beginners. Donating 2 to the tradfest, with hip quiver and 6 carbon arrows.

I was very impressed with it. After setting his up for him, I was wanting to buy one for myself (like I need ANOTHER bow). I especially liked the grip. Very similar to the old Bear bows I like to shoot so much. No holes for extra equipment but for shooting totally instinctive, its hard to beat, especially for the price.

Norman Addington bought one for his daughter, was really impressed, bought another one for himself, showed me pics of it at breakfast this morning, terrible ! The nocks looked like someone cut them, then changed their mind and cut new ones. He said the riser finnish was like coarse sandpaper, and then when he assembled it, one of the limb bushings popped out, no eoxy! He sent it back, and bought another, said it was just fine.
I have 4 in boxes in the basement right now, guess i better check them !

Bought these 4 for $92.77 a piece, or $371.08 for the lot !
You might find a custom made bow for double that.
I hate to buy cheap imported stuff over American made, but that kind of money, basically 1/8 the cost…….
