Wish these temps would drop back down. Not getting very many cruising pics this week.
We're not either, should pick up around Halloween though.
Looks to be above average temps until Halloween weekend. It turns nice and cool but also a full moon.
Figured that cold snap last weekend would get them up on their feet. Didn't see a thing moving.
My cameras are dead also. Im probably gonna stay out for a bit.
There's a 20 degree drop from Friday to Saturday this weekend, should make for better movement over the weekend.
I hope so, I just can't get in to hunting when it's 80 degrees.
Hung a climber on a point this afternoon. Think I’ll go and hunt it next weekend unless the weather dramatically improves. It’s in a good spot but I’d rather not pressure it under the conditions are more favorable. If the weather don’t cooperate, I’ll just wait until gun season opener.
Same here Webb. Was going to go sit a while tonight watching a low gap and the bugs kept swarming my ears. So I came home. Prob hit this weekend if the temps drop. I’ve not seen much movement all year in the mountains
I don't see a big enough swing in temps til a week from Weds. So looks like Halloween week will be cruising week.
Happens every year best I recollect.
I'm about to throw out my thermacell. If I need it, I don't need to be in the tree.
They sure moved good Saturday morning. Saw 8 does and encountered a buck making a rub on a bench below me as I was walking out. Never got a look at his rack though.
The lull will be coming to an end very soon!
