I know i havent been out much but thinking about it i only saw 1 mature buck in all my sits and he was out of my bow range so i passed him.
Then I saw 2 spikes in rifle season and thats it!

How many bucks have yall seen so far? (While hunting)

I normally log all the deer I see every sit every year. This year I did it on and off. Saw a bunch of bucks this year. Lots of 2.5-3.5 yr old. Buck I killed this year was the best and most mature one I saw this year. Figure 5.5 yrs old. Had pics of him for 3 yrs.

Hard to say what dinks I saw repeatedly, but I'm sure it's over 100 buck sightings this season. 7 good ones. And damn near a month of season left

I seen four six different mature bucks, that hunting two states. These are what I consider mature 3 or older.

I only saw two (2) shooters (3 1/2 years or older) all season. Even my immature buck sightings were the lowest ever. Like Littlebear, I keep logs and this season I saw my lowest buck numbers ever. Maybe two dozen total.

I saw 3 different mature bucks 4.5+ Year olds a total of 7 times out of 16 or 17 hunts. Saw several basket rack bucks some 2.5 and maybe a 3.5 and lots of does. Lotta deer on most hunts. I think in my case there were no acorns in my area and I had good food plots. I think that’s why I saw a lot. I don’t know if the overall deer numbers in the area were up or not. I think just limited food sources this year and I was lucky to have the food.

I seen two nice 15" 8 pts and several spikes,4pts,5pt just small bucks.
I know this year was the slowest for deer sightings Ive had in many years.
I heard way less shooting too,it was like nobody was hunting.
My tags are still in my pocket, just never seen a buck that I wanted.
This is my second year in a row that I didnt pull the trigger.
Im looking forward to next year,I get to buy the cheaper senior license then.LOL:cool:

Biggest deer I saw was a 100” with one decent side and other side was just a spike. No shooters on camera all year

2 shooters, probably 10 baskets, and a couple of bucks that should be good next year. Our best year ever, because no acorns.
We almost never see antlers outside of the rut. For over 350 days a year, you’d think we have a buck/doe ratio of like 1/10 or something.

Most of my hunting is modern gun these days. If I'm off for most all of it I'm hunting daily and almost always all day,...last 2 seasons never pulled the trigger. Rough guess is around 15-25 bucks a real shooter. Best would have been in the 120ish range. Pulled the trigger on a 130ish or maybe less meaty 8 this year on about day 4. He looked 3.5 to me,....decent deer,...on the right day I'm taking that home. I usually see big deer all in the same year and then not really much for another 4 or 5 years as far as size,'s just always been that way.

Depends on what your neighbors are doing. And probably 9 other factors out of peoples control.
