Ok my uncle called last night checking on me and got to telling me of his recent beaver probs from the river getting to crazy a while back I guess they found his pond to be calmer water along with a smorgasbord of grub with his big orchard beside the pond.

Look, I know what needs to take place as far as trapping em out but he's insanely stubborn and wants to do it himself. He isn't one to give anyone outside the fam permission either.
Is there another approach to do here? He claims they know what side of the pond he's on and they go to the other splashing water n such(lol)
    Appreciate any help

Put a small flat bottomed boat in the pond around sunset. When they swim up to slap their tails at the intruder, have your high brass 4s ready :) !!

Sunrise and sunset are the best opportunities to see them. Their vision is the greatest but they're easily alerted to movement. If you stay still they'll actually get pretty close. They've got a dam somewhere nearby, if you bust it during the day they'll be there that evening to check on it. I've also heard from a friend that buckshot works best

More like patience...they'll turn at some point if not alerted. Also heard from same friend that the back of their head makes a great target

Well the pond has a dam but they do block the spillway every night.
Heck he's even put a ground blind to hide in with his 3.5 turk gun. Idk he claims they know where he's at at all times and won't get in range.

He's not staying late enough or moving to much. If he unblocks the spillway, That evening they will be there. When these guys are referencing morning and evening there talking till dark.
The spillway is the key, beavers hate running water. We uuh ......I mean I have heard of people setting in a side by side and shooting them.
While your at it, be sure to sign my petition BBHB.
