I just got in. 7 hours left so now we wait. @Feedman I brought twelve beer and four cans of chew and 6 chicken strips and a bacon sammich

I sat until 1100. Decided to get down and finish setting my daughter's stand up for her to hunt this weekend. First time for her to hunt out of a tree...that should be a hoot.

I had a decent 8pt come in at first light, he was definitely cruising. He was gone through the brush before I could pick the bow up and decide if he was a shooter. I waited about a minute and then gave a couple grunts, he came back around cross wind at 20 yrds broadside, but he wasn't quite what I was looking for. If he's around next year, he'll be a keeper. Had 2 does wander by, no follow behind. Had a single doe come through about 930, no follow. Rattled in a small 6pt about 1030.
Great morning to sit and watch the leaves rain down.
Have some yard work to take care of this afternoon. Good luck to all this evening!

In for the afternoon in Rowan. Saw a fresh scrape and rub as I was walking in. Northeast wind has me on this narrow bench over a water hole. Bout 150 yards from a food plot. Wishin this ladder stand was turned about 45 degrees the other direction. Good luck.

Had to change plans. Wife has Covid, son was gonna pick up the grocery order, now he’s feeling bad. Guess I’ll pick them up and get Papa John’s pizza while I’m at it!

I haven’t been getting any pics but just had a decent young buck walk in front of my blind at 4:27. Reveal sent it. Of course, I’m busy and not hunting! Something must be happening.

Got in stand at 10 sat till dark 7 15 est here. Seen one basket rack 8 point at 4 30 that was it.

I hung a stand this evening after getting off work. Was almost 6:15 by time I got it up and everything. I sat in it till dark, didn’t really figure I’d see anything after all the commotion I made hanging it, but seen one lone doe around 6:30

Ended up seeing 30 plus does and 6 bucks for the day, I sat from dark to dark in the same tree. Will be back up in the same tree to try em again in the a.m
