Had one running at me about 845 so I stood up and got ready just in case. Ended up being a 4 pt but that sort of distracted me and all of a sudden I had a decent 10 on me. 20 yards and clear but on my right side. I was planning to shoot but kind of glad it didn't work out as I think he was 130ish. But damn it's been a few years and when all you've been seeing is dinks he looked like a Boone at first, haha. Nothing since. Right on a creek bottom so I know I get a lot of newbs travel down here. Hoping for a lot of luck.

Happy bday to my 4 year old princess. Send daddy some magic!!

Been on the stand since an hour before dawn. I had a doe come in and then the same goofy 8 ish point come in. Made a scrape at 25 yds. Then circled around in front of me and down below me on a bench. Stood broadside at 20 for a while. Walked off. Nothing since.

@ 11:00 had a small buck come to the corn only to be encouraged to get out by another buck his size. The 2nd one fed for 30 minutes while the other stood dejected 20 yards away.

Well around 11 I saw a side rack up on the ridge, barely a glimpse. Through some grunts his way but never saw him again. Couldn't even tell how big he was but definitely not a dink. That wraps it up for me. Good luck to the rest of you.

I seen 5 bucks this morning. 2 shooters. I thought the buck I seen chasing the other Fri was a shooter till I got a closer look at him. He came to rattling the other 8pt came in to a lil grunting. The big ol 6 was just cruising by out of range and wouldn't respond to any calling. Best morning for bucks on my place in the 5 seasons I've owned it. My buddy that came to hunt this week had 2 bucks come in on a drag line and seen 5 does, turkeys and some yotes. Best morning of the season so far

You sir are not wrong I never have had a issue with letting it fly. It’s finding it that can get cumbersome
