Time change got me all turned around. Happens every year and I still have to see it get light with my own eyes and look at the new time to verify when I need to be in the stand.
Setup here in western Ky. No wind, turkeys gobbling, some crazy creature eating what sounded to be several small children…. These woods are wild this morning!
Hunting knox county farm today. Already had 3 yo 8 pt go by right at first light. Yesterday I got a 4 yo 10 pt crossing my food plot in the high winds and the camera had 81 degrees on it.
In the tree in Scott co. Bumped a few walking in and heard some moving past me in the dark. The woods are dry and these squirrels sound like elephants running around
Snuck in. Man it was quiet. Several moved before shooting light. 2 twin fawn doe under my stand and 2 gay gobblers strutting and gobbling (apparently for each other?)at 80 yards.
Really hoping big boy makes an appearance. Went from midnight to 12&3, and he’s been around at 5 am and 830 pm the last few days
Got up my late. Was gonna hunt. Instead dropped the wife off at the closest stand. An came back home. Hopefully she kills one. She has been hunting hard. Weather aint helping the bow hunter at all this year.
