This young guy cautiously came down the edge of the woodline at 3:00 right after I got in the tower. Didn't seem to be cruising. He was going real slow looking

Why is it to me that looks like an older deer with just a young looking rack?

Congrats @riverboss! That’s one heck of a buck and sounds like you made a great shot. Care to elaborate on the “express” you’re talking about?

In 1980 or81 remington renamed the 280 to 7mm express I was young and wanted something different so I bought it. They only made it for a yr or two, great caliber, I've always wanted a 7mm magnum but this thing never let's me down.

Son finished the day with a young doe. Perfect heart shot at 75 yards with a 30/30. She piled up at about 30 yards.

Took the wife out for the evening hunt and climbed up at 2 and immediately were in deer and by 330 she tagged a nice 8. Ended up seeing 8 doe and 3 bucks in just a hr and half. Bucks were chasing wide open today. And also she is 8 months pregnant so lucky she felt well enough to get out this evening.
