Like has been stated already, they can’t get the occasional financing used to stay afloat when available cash is low unless they come under. It’s a double edged sword.

Can’t lie. Always liked me some Cracker Barrel. Haven’t been in a long time. My daughter, who’s 10 now, would choose CB over McDs when she was younger. That’s the CB “Grandpa Walton Edition” rocking chair.
I believe it’s these devils way of enlisting us to help destroy the republic and its economy. They win either way….. promoting ungodly zero birth rate lifestyles and destroying our economy so they can reset it. You know… build back better. Hell hath enlarged itself for these reprobates.

This is precisely what I said on an another thread the other day. Eventually they’ll be able to decide where people buy things from…and what they buy. When your options are limited then you play right into their hands. At the same time, I understand people not wanting to support these companies.

Screw Cracker Barrel. When I first got out here, at the end of the covid nonsense, I tried to have breakfast there. They had this stupid policy that I had to wear a mask to walk to my table but I could take it off once I sat down. I know they weren't the only morons to do this, but they are one of them.
Gave them a second chance a few months later. I ordered a beer, and they carded me. I'm freakin' 61 years old. Idiot manager tried telling me it was state law, which is an outright lie.
The place is run by idiots, won't be eating there ever again.

Yeah. Just another confirmation of the con. I told the restaurant I ate at once, COVID is so considerate to leave us alone to eat since we can take off our mask.

I didn't get upset because I got carded, I got annoyed because of stupid rules that make no sense. I got upset when the manager lied to me.
And I also get kinda annoyed at people who supposedly live in a free country blithely go along with idiots who demand to see your papers when going about your daily business. But hey, that's just me.
