Still showing up at night only. I’ll see them in the day soon.
Couple bucks I’m after only show in the middle of night. I believe the rut may be the only way to have a chance. Got plenty of does in daylight though.
My last daylight pics of my bucks was Sept 2. They are there around midnight or 3am now
They are somewhere in the daytime....Just have to find out where.
The main one I’m after is in a deep nasty thick holler that allows no way to get in there without running him out. That’s why he loves that spot I believe. This hot weather we are having now most deer won’t be on their feet much during the day. All my cams are showing very little daylight moment. Most daylight is right as the sun is setting this week.
Saw a lot of deer in fields yesterday on way home from work.
I’m going tonight, but it’s hot So I’m gonna hold off till around 5:00 not getting pics till 8:00 or later anyway
I see this every year, here or many other Appalachian states with acorns. They shed and go straight to acorns to pack on the fat for the rut. They come to fields, mineral and such at or after dark. Always get into great timber stands of white oaks now! That's where your gonna kill your descent buck. My .02 anyway. It requires luck! lots of it. Good Luck!
Setting in a white oak ridge with a pile of corn. Hoping to get one moving from acorn to acorn and stopping for a bite of corn.
