We here in ole Ky. are unfortunate in ways to not be able to hunt at night. I am going to Indiana this weekend to spotlight some yotes It is legal there. What type of set-up did you and your partner have on your nighthunts? We will be able to use high powered rifles also. Thanks

Basically we had to learnthe diference in daylight hunting and night hunting without lights. Stands that worked real well during the day often didn't hide us at night. We had to learn to use the shadows and not the cover.Sitting in front of a honeysuckle patch we would stand out and they would spot us bfore reaching shotgun range. Sit in the shadow of a large oak and it was a whole diferent story. They couldn't see into the shadows any better than we could.

We used the fencerows for the most part. Dogs are a lot easier to see well out in the open and they have no problem coming out htere at night. Jimmie
