I have a new thermal monocular on the way to even the playing field at night time... Sure wish we could hunt with center fired rifles at night

The HD19A is absolutely AMAZING! It is the ticket for scanning.... absolutley NOTHING can hide from you within 300-400 yards...Just not so amazing in KY with the shotgun laws... Luckily I live within a stones through to IN and have a few farms to hunt there.

Thanks for the info, looks like you got the good stuff. Thinkin out loud, I don't think I will be affording one any time soon. Unfortunately.

That is some good stuff right there.
Just a side note....if any y'all are thinking Night Vision. Do NOT buy any of the Gen.1 stuff that typically sells for a few hundred dollars. You have wasted your money. You're looking at spending a couple Thousand on Up for quality scopes. A lot of money?? Some people have it to spend; cheaper than a bass boat.
At least get the Gen. 2 + with IR or the Thermal units such as is described here. Then YOU have the advantage.
