New one on me

    9645E534-CCE5-4EA7-96DF-D4E4B0FD9DB3.jpeg Just ran over this guy in Floyd county. Only the second one I have ever seen in 26 years alive. Seen a jet black mink yesterday ran over not 3 miles from here

    Yep I guess the proper name is a long tailed weasel. He was in close proximity to 30 some pullets and multiple ducks and laying hens as well. I’m sure that’s where he was headed

    You don't see those often. Probably one of the most elusive animals out there.

    First and only one I've ever seen till yours was about 35 years ago. It was the first animal I ever caught in a trap. I thought it was a mink till my buddy told me mink didnt live that far away from water usually.

    I have never seen one alive, only 2 dead. A guy bought one by my Dad’s store many years ago that he had run over. Another was laying in the road dead and when I turned around to get it was gone. Never knew what happened to it.
