Looking to get a new 2021 bow for Christmas. I have narrowed it down between either Hoyt or Matthew’s. This is for whitetail deer hunting. Any advice or recommendations?
Well they are all good these days. I built a new Mathews on line today just for the heck of it, can’t drop the money. I say go try a few out.
I agree with the others. Don’t buy a name buy a bow that feels good for you. Lots of brands make great bows. I picked up an Elite at a bow shop near me for $600 new 2019 models are discounted.
Bow tech revolt and solution should be on your list. Great bows and easily tuned imo, just go shoot some diff ones.
All in what fits you best and feels good in your hand. Shoot as many as you can buy the one that feels the best.
Last time I went to my bow shop to shoot an Elite & Matthews..... walked out with a PSE lol. Never been a PSE fan at all till the Evolve cam came out. Game Changer!!
My son bought a Mathews VXR this year. Not that long ago, I wouldn’t have thought it possible for a bow to be that quiet, smooth and fast.
All the major manufacturers make quality bows. Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, BowTech, Elite, Bear, Prime, etc.. My favorite bow ever made is probably the Elite GT500. I'm a bow junkie, probably owned 30 or more in the past 7 or 8 years. Shoot what feels best to you regardless of what brand it is.
I have shot a gt500 for 10 years . Just bought a ritual 30 and selling my gt. Hard to part with such a great bow
