We always hunted Walkers, or Red Bones, or Blue Tick hounds.
First thing you need to do is buy a GOOD shocking collar.........then buy a dog. That's the best advice I have for you. Whenever you are dealing with hounds always start in that order.
I just saw a post on IG that the Hopkins County Coon Club just had a meat hunt competition. So, there’s a coon club in your county. I’d start there and see if you can tag along on a hunt to see if you like it first before investing any money.
Cool, i didnt even know we had one.
There's a coon hunting club in Marshal Co., between Aurora and Hardin near Jonathan Creek. Bout a hour from Hopkinsville.
Coon hunting is a gateway crime!
I'm going coon hunting as soon as I get my suppressors. Son put a 300 blackout together and we have some subsonic rounds. Be sitting 50 yds from my feeders shooting the little corn theives.
Gonna eat them?
D is going to smoke them.
I will be there surely. Smoke a few, BBQ a few, corn a few.
