Trying to choose a mount is always the hardest thing for me to do. I was looking at the new McKenzie 6900 / 9900 upright series mount. Has anyone seen it yet? I have a 152" mainframe 10 that is perfectly symmetrical. Any thoughts on how to show off that symmetry? Most all my other mounts are semi-sneaks. Any thoughts on the new 6900 / 9900 series mount is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Really like this one. It’s a McKenzie just not sure the number. Think it shows symmetry very well. Just an opinion though, I’ve never killed a deer like that one mounted there

You need to get what u like, IMO, not what we like. European mounts look good to me.

That’s a McKenzie 8900 series. I’ve got a couple deer mounted on that form. Great looking wall pedestal mount especially if you put a swivel wall mount bracket on it. I made a couple myself. Allows you to change the position of the mount at any time without hanging head again.

I mounted mine how I remember seeing the deer. I also place it in the room for the same reason.

Here is a pic of the swivel wall mount I made. With it you can move the mount around and get it positioned at the turn that you like best. You get tired of looking at it in that position just turn it some. Works on several different style mounts but I like it best on a wall pedestal mount.

Littlebear does that bolt thread in or just sit loose in the hoop? I like it.

Didn’t have any rod that size so used the bolts. Sits loose where it can pivot freely on each end when you want to position it different. You can lift up and take it completely off the wall if you want. The mount bracket is 3 separate pieces.

Trophy Arm makes these. I’ve got two, but haven’t mounted the deer on them yet.

This was my last KY buck I had mounted. Current one is going on the same form, but looking right.
