Super proud dad today. Took the 7 yr old lil gal to her first 3D archery shoot today. She had never shot at 3D animals before and has only shot a bow for a week. Her targets were 8 to 15 yards and she never missed a single one on the 20 target course. She had one big smile on her face when she found out she won 2nd place. Yes Grinder I think its the boots.

Good luck to him. We plan on making the ASA Pro-Am circuit next year. We will probably attend London and Metropolis this year just to get her feet wet.

She looks pretty serious, keep at what you’re doing
Funny story. So to keep her concentrating on what she is doing, we told her for every 5 ring (white circle) she hit she got to stay up 1 minute past her bedtime. For every arrow out of the 5 ring she gets a minute deducted. Talk about groups shrinking down bigtime. She shot a 145/150 Friday night. In S3DA, that would have won state in her class.

Man thats so cool. I have 3 lil girls myself. I have spent almost 38years in the KY woods. An i have accomplished most all of my personal goals i had since i was a lil kid inside the woods. From killing 150 plus bucks and big longbeards. To catching limits of crappie and doves. An there is nothing an i mean nothing more important to me then my girls. An showing them the ends and outs of our sport of hunting. I want them to take game and enjoy the harvest. But its really about so much more then just the harvest. Its about the memorys and the life lessons it teaches for generations to come. If i can get my daughters on there first wild turkey this year i will die a happy man one day. They deserve to have the same expereinces we did in the woods. An just because there girls dont mean they srent as good. In most cases little girls can out shoot the boys around them. Archery is a very challanging sport. Yet its so rewarding afterward.
