Thirty minutes later, it's full on geese calling from east to north and even northwest at one point. They are awake and lively now. Light fog/mist has almost cleared now. 40°F.

Two honkers from due south filed a northern flight plan yet swung wide NNE over the roost area, while honking away within 40°F clear skies, W 3mph. They awakened those within the roost, which are now honking, as well.

All the other birds finally awakened them. They are honking up a storm right now at 47°F, lots of them due east.

    And Houston, we had liftoff.

Four just flew directly over my house via unfiled flight plan south to north, straight up the driveway

Just spied myself baby geese with parents at the nice man's pond. If still there whenever I depart this nitrous oxide place, I shall go get my camera.

Honkers returning to roost, causing me to look up and see one really huge looking moon.

"... the full Moon in April, this is the Pink Moon, named after the herb moss pink, also known as creeping phlox, moss phlox, or mountain phlox. The plant is native to the eastern United States and is one of the earliest widespread flowers of spring."

They know something is up with the weather today. Already in flight, this time from east to west, to my north.

    Honkers to the NNE.

The coyotes were having themselves a field day due east last night and closer than I had ever heard them.

^... I kept expecting to hear gunshots last night but never did, however, I did hear three back to back not long after dawn this morning.

They were honking away the past few days, but five geese flew the tree canopies from NW to ESE toward the the roost, which is unusual at this hour. They waited until directly after the light rain had ceased and sun had slightly broken the morning cloud cover. They are over there honking away now and did not look to be the B17 bomber honkers, slightly smaller.

Mega geese to the east this morning, barking up a storm and have been for the past ten minutes. They are always there, it's just that they sound to be back to their original numbers today.
