This may be a dumb question and I don't see why you couldn't but is it legal to bring both your muzzleloader and bow into the stand this weekend? Cause if I get one close enough I want to use my bow but I also want to make sure I get meat in the freezer if its out of bow range
I carry enough already. Just one weapon for me. I'm sticking with the bow. If i get desperate for meat there is always modern gun. Third year bow only. Wife says its just so I can keep going back.
Once firearm season starts here, I often strap on my 44 Mag TC Contender and grab my bow. It's much easier than carrying a long gun.
Had em both last year. Got my first coyote bow kill opening of ML. Always like a bow or Xbow to take a close doe shot early in the AM so I don't disturb everyone in my hunting party. Haven't shot one with a ML in a few years so might only take that tomorrow. It is legal to have both archery and gun if that's what you're asking.
Yes it is legal. Just make sure you have a safe way to stow the smoke pole if you go to use the bow for a close shot.
