The boss lady got her a cat around 9 this morning, west of Bullitt Co. One less cat to make its way around the state.:)
Not a big one but the outfitter wanted her to take it cause snow was knee deep and he wasn't sure she could travel a long way in those conditions. I didn't think my hunts could have been more difficult, but knee deep snow, steep mtns, not a level spot to step and thin air.....she did real good. Going after a big one now if they can tree one within reasonable distance.

Never EVER heard of someone eating mountain lion. I have tried and will try many things but i dont think cougar is among them. Ugh

A really white meat. Had it before, very good, but don't think wife is bringing any home. She feels like you.

Great looking cougar. I think this settles the debate on whether there are mountain cats in Kentucky or not.

Haven't heard the whole story yet, not much cell service. What i got was she was up at 1:00 AM Saturday morning, on the road not long after. Stuck in snow twice, trucked chained up. Parked one place they couldn't open truck doors (tacoma), snow too deep. First bow shot anchored cat in tree, second insurance shot cat rolled off limb dead when it hit the ground. After another one today using snowmobile. Got back to house at 3.
