Mine are "companion" models. Wait for a sale. They can be had for less than $10.00.
Regular price is from $12-14 dollars.

Amazon has the best sales... I would check Ebay also...

I see two packs on Ebay for less that $17.00. Pay attention to the shipping charges tho'...

I noticed my Opinel had a few rust spots. I did this and it worked great.

Good knives. I’ve got one with the orange handle. I’ve used on deer, elk, and turkeys. Gifted 3 a couple of years ago to some hunting buddies. Unbelievably cheap and very well made. Got mine from Amazon.

A few years ago, my hunting buddy asked if I ever heard of Mora knives. I told him "I wouldn't fool with them. They don't get very good reviews"... He says "That's good enough for me. I'll keep looking". In reality, I already had a two pack wrapped up for him for a Christmas gift. He is a big fan of them now. He took the deception pretty well...:D

There’s a really awesome knife store in Radcliff, called Red Hill Cutlery. Yesterday, they posted this on Facebook:

    Is that genius or what?

I have the Companion, stainless with the black and orange handle. They’re about $15 on Amazon.
I read about Mora’s years ago. Not long afterwards, we went to the Smoky Mountains. The first place we stopped
was Smoky Mountain Knife Works. I asked to see a Mora. I barely touched the blade to my thumb and started bleeding like a stuck hog. The guy behind the counter didn’t even look up, he just handed me a first aid kit.

Hard to beat a $15 or less mora companion. I have a couple in tackle boxes, tool box, basement workbench, camping pack, prob another somewhere lol.
I need to try the hot vinegar. Thanks

I checked Amazon, it’s weird, but it looks like the stainless companions are priced differently, depending on color. They’re all within a few dollars of each other, but I don’t know why tan costs more than orange...
